What is a non-stress test (NST)?
NST is useful in determining fetal well-being and whether the pain felt in the abdomen is a true uterine contraction at every examination after the 32nd week of pregnancy.
The NST device is a special machine that records the hidden pain, fetal heart rhythm and movements on paper using probes.
